THIS EXPERIENCE IS FOR 18 YEARS OR OLDER ONLY; NO EXCEPTIONS.
Meet some our wolf dog ambassadors while visiting the Pacific Northwest! Just 1.5 hours North of Seattle, our wildlife refuge is nestled in 10 forested acres. We will introduce you to our mission and history with wolves and other exotic animals. Come enjoy Max and Kakoa, leash free, in their new 1/4 acre natural enclosure. Then walk through sun-dappled trails in our new 1 1/2 acre run with 7 of our 2-3 year old ambassadors in training. Old-growth trees tower overhead; the wolf dogs will lead you around their new open run, while our guide talks about wolves' habitat, behavior, & the myths and misconceptions surrounding this apex predator. Our new photo area will allow us to pause for photos and rest with the wolves. When we return to the refuge, you will see a few more beautiful animals, including sloths, cougars, foxes, and more! You will be able to touch, photograph and even howl with wolf dogs in this once-in-a-lifetime setting!

Other things to note
Please dress appropriately: jeans, close-toed tennis shoes, NO leather, furry, feathery, down, (including lining) puffy, free flowing shirts, cardigans or dangly jewelry. NO OTHER animals are allowed on premise.

Ashley started with Predators of the Heart in 1998. Traveling with her father Dave from age 12 to 17. She had to switch to booking all of his programs from 17-29 years old. Ashley arranged accommodations, pricing, made cold calls to schools, churches and fairs, handled all correspondence only being able to travel on occasion. She got married at 20 years old, Ashley and her husband Aaron donated countless hours helping build enclosures, bottle feeding wolf pups, feed animals while Dave was on the road she helped in raising and caring for many animals. But her passion is having the opportunity to teach hundreds of people about how every animals plays a vital role in the web of life.

Predators of the Heart sanctuary is dedicated to wildlife education and conservation. Many of our animals are rescued from the exotic pet trade, abandoned, or needed a forever home to live peacefully. We are also home to 26 wolf dogs here in the Pacific Northwest. Our conservation has worked with other sanctuaries and has been successful all across the country

I was kind of hesitant due to the price, but all I can say is that if you can afford it, do this tour. The habitat for the animals is so well kept and the animals are very obviously all happy compared to other similar venues that I have visited. We got upclose and personal (petting, cuddling, pictures) with 7 different wolfs for almost an hour cumulative. This is without a doubt the best experience of this kind that I have partaken in and the staffs passion for what they do is extremely evident.

100% recommend this experience! The staff on site is amazing, the animals all look so healthy and well taken care of. They take extra precautions to make sure you and the animals are safe (none of the wolves were forced into interactions with the guests, it was all by their own willingness and choice) while allowing everyone to enjoy their time there. There is so much to learn about all of their animals and where they have come from, too. This experience is most definitely worth it!
