Það sem verður gert
After you come in the gate, turn right and park opposite the orchard. Then walk down to the wooden house and through the door with "Alternative View" painted on it and two alpacas kissing. I will meet you there and then we will walk up to the barn to meet the alpacas. In the barn, we’ll meet some Alpacas and put their halters on while talking about the history of these sweet animals. Before we set off, you’ll have the opportunity to ask any burning questions, but of course you can ask questions at any time. We’ll walk the Alpacas around the farm which usually takes about an hour. After the walk, if you’d like, you can see the free ranging chickens in the orchard and check out our permaculture vegetable garden.

I’ve been an alpaca breeder for 17 years and enjoyed every minute of it! I have more than 100 Alpacas that I look after by myself and it came to me that as they’re such sweet and docile animals that it would be a pleasure, especially for those who live in the city, to have an interaction with the animals while walking around our lovely farm. The farm is set on 70 acres of beautiful Gippsland hills, with pastures, forests, and the most breathtaking sunsets. Our Alpacas give birth from November through February and you’re bound to see one playing around in the later months.

We’ll walk around the top of the farm with stunning views of the beautiful Gippsland hills, perfect for pictures. There’s also an opportunity to see the orchard, permaculture vegetable garden and a sustainable house. A wallaby or eagle sighting is not uncommon!
