In and out of the port of New Orleans, Eric is a descendent of French pirates who sailed the high seas of the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico. Even in recent generations, both his maternal and paternal grandfathers worked in the port of New Orleans importing fruit from the Caribbean and Latin America. Being the first land lover in his family, he traded in the helm for handle bars.

A native of New Orleans, Eric posses a knowledge of the city that exceeds research, he is a product of its culture. From rolling in Mardi Gras parades in his youth, getting his first high school job as a beignet chef at Cafe du Monde, and being steeped in our city's customs his whole life. He not only lives in New Orleans - New Orleans lives in him. Eric's tours are well rounded and offer both the better and lesser known narratives of New Orleans history.

Eric is very knowledgeable of the history of the city while still being in touch with current happenings. He kept us engaged with his excellent story telling and passion for history. Because of the tour, I will always explore this and other cities on a bike. Thank you!

I've been all over the world and this tour is genuinely one of the best history tours I've ever been on in my life. It's much less about bike riding (though it's the best way to ever see a city), but it's all about Eric and the way he tells a story. You will be absolutely blown away. Not to worry, it's not overdone in some kind of 'gather 'round, boys and girls' cheesy way, but the DEEP history of New Orleans is told like you're almost being let in on a secret. Bring all your friends, no matter how cool they think they are or what age, bring your clients, your family, your friends. We passed MORE THAN THREE people on the streets who yelled to us 'you're with the best tour guide in the city'. I yelled back, 'oh that much is very obvious!' Eric, and this tour, is/was/and will always be a highlight I'll never forget. I know I sound like I'm exaggerating. I'm not. Just go.

Warning, what you read here might contain spoilers. On the day of the tour, the weather was not perfect but our guide, Eric made it possible to forget about the cold and enjoy what NOLA has to offer. It was fun learning about NOLA's history and Eric made it interesting. If you're looking for a break from partying downtown, schedule a tour with Eric. We were surprised that NOLA is so bike friendly. Not once we felt unsafe riding the bikes that were provided by the tour. The bicycles provided are in pristine condition. Bottom line, you have to let Eric show you around NOLA.

Before taking this tour, I had read through the reviews and knew that I had stumbled on something special. Even so, it still exceeded my expectations. Eric is a natural. He immediately made us feel welcomed and right at home. He made sure we were safe and comfortable for the ride, and although my friend and I aren't in the greatest physical shape of our lives--we were able to enjoy and complete the ride with ease. I recall leaning over to my friend and saying, "If every history teacher in school was as interesting as he is, kids would LOVE to learn about history." His storytelling abilities are second-to-none. I highly recommend that you pay attention to these positive reviews and book this tour ASAP! You will not regret it. Oh, and don't forget to leave him a good tip. Not only does he deserve it, but times are hard in the tourism industry right now and every little bit helps keep this amazing man in business.

YOU HAVE FOUND THE ONE!! Seriously, stop scrolling and go on this excursion!! Eric is an outstanding guide. He really knows everyone and everything about New Orleans. He catered the tour to our personal interests and gave us great recommendations! He was funny, cool, and an awesome historian and story teller. The bicycling was leisurely and safe for a beginner. We saw so much of Nola! I particularly loved Eric’s friendly demeanor. He was always saying hi to people he knew and wishing them happy new year. He seems like a great person. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!
