You will be joining me on my daily morning bike/run/yoga

We will start with a meeting at my place at 630am. We will pick our bikes and start riding toward the hulk bike/run park. It is an easy 4 mile bike ride. We lock up the bikes and head for a 2 mile barefoot run. Then back on the bike for the 4 mile return trip home. We will end the experience with a set of yoga exercises targeting your lower body.
Running related injuries cripple 79% of recreational runners within 1 year of training. mechanical strain is caused by movement inefficiency, and we can utilize barefoot running techniques to regain the lost efficiency as well as improve performance as a side effect. See you soon,

I never liked running, it seemed boring to me and I could never embrace it, until I started barefoot trail running. the constant change in scenery and terrain as well as where i place my feet keeps me more present. I love the feeling of my bare feet on the ground. to me this feels more like dancing. the terrain changes and you have to be adaptable , and your foot becomes elastic overtime. shoes block us from the communication and connection with the earth, our bare feet allow us the feeling of all sorts of sensations and keeping us much more present. This bike-run-stretch has been my daily routine for years. I would like to share it with you to hopefully get you on your way to barefoot trail running.

I feel lucky I found this experience while desperately looking for some fun and exciting things to do during my recent visit to Myrtle Beach. If you are someone who enjoys the outdoors, you are a nature lover, love the beach life, and like to get some exercising in even while you are on vacation, this thoughtful experience created by Yan, a free-spirited man, is the experience you are looking for. There is no better way to get your day started than enjoying an early bike ride along the nice park, followed by a 2-3 mile run in the woods by the beach before it gets too hot to do so. A "beat the sun" type of run. Speaking of the run...what about the barefoot run? Besides some beach runs on the sand, this was my first barefoot run. While in theory we are born to run barefoot, that's a concept that never resonated well with me or my feet. As part of my personal growth, and putting myself in unusual situations, trying different things, I decided to give this experience a try, and stepped outside my comfort zone, barefoot. Pun intended! :) The area that Yan chose for the barefoot run was perfect. While it is in the woods, it is a soft terrain, some grassy areas, and not rocky! One always has to look for roots and fallen branches, but other than that, it was actually an easy and painless run. Besides the run itself, what I enjoyed the most was the conversation with Yan. As a runner, one of my favorites things to do is connecting with my fellow runner buddies while sharing our love for the outdoors, nature, and keeping our minds and bodies active and engaged. Yan is an interesting person, with a fascinating life journey, and equally passionate about personal growth. To top it off, we ended the experience at his magical camp/retreat where we did the rigorous stretching. Closing statement: While in Myrtle Beach, check any of Yan's experiences. You won't regret it!
