Imagine the smell of bread recently baked, the smells of chocolate, vanilla, cinamon and coffee are mixed together to créate a matchless atmosphere in which you’ll be the main guest in my home and you’ll know the true mexican tradition.
While I take you to put your hands in the dough and enjoy the great smell of butter I’ll explain step by step every detail of the process, you will be imbued of delicious smells, I’ll tell you the story sorrounding the food and my city while you enjoy some local drinks.
Finally we will prepare a delicious chocolate, but if you like coffee you will love to try one from the region to have those conchas you made with your own hands. Immerse yourself in my world of smells, textures and flavors.

This turned out much better than I expected. Rebecca was extremely personable and kind. I want expecting the try four different local spirits but the Pasita and the hibiscus were my favorites, I even went out and bought a bottle at the calle de dolce she recommended. She was a great teacher and did an excellent job of showing us the techniques needed to make the conche. They turned out so pretty!

Rebeca was very friendly and very knowledgeable in teaching us how to make conchas and cubiletes. She explained the technique to get good dough We felt very welcomed in her home. I truly enjoyed this experience! She offered us a tasting of local liquors, we enjoyed it very much. We had a good time talking about ourselves and learning tips/advice in baking these in our own home. I really recommend this experience so one can immerse themselves in the Mexican bread culture.

I love Mexican pastries and Rebecca truly gave my husband and me a wonderful baking experience. Rebecca was efficiently prepared and gave thorough and patient directions for us to follow. She is an accomplished pastry chef and enjoys sharing her passion. Rebecca also gave us samples of local spirits during the class while interjecting lots of tips for our stay in beautiful Puebla. We highly recommend this class for anyone who is interested in baking Mexican pastries and learning local insights. We hated to see our time together come to an end; can't wait to try these goodies at home!!!!

Rebeca was a tremendous teacher. She was patient, organized , informative all with a great sense of joy. The most special thing was learning about the lives of Rebeca and her husband. They were extraordinarily warm and hospitable. While baking we had a great conversation which covered many topics. Rebeca must have done her job because the tarts and the conchas were fantastic. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone.
