Það sem verður gert

We will tell you the story of our family and our farm. We explain you the breed of sheep that we have, that is different from the usual one. You will do a tour in our farm and you will see all our animals and you will can touch them by real: sheeps, lambs, goaths, horse, dogs...
And we will show you our traditional way to do the handmade organic sheep cheese.
In the end you will taste all our different kind of cheese: fresh, semiaged, most aged (about one year of age).
If the weather is nice the tasting can be done outside; on the paved courtyard in front of the garden or in our new terrace (built on the roof of an ancient brick kiln) that overlooks the fields and woods that surround our farm.
In case of bad weather the tasting will take place inside our "Bottega", a salon obtained from the renovation of an old stable, wich also is the place where we sale our products.
Other things to note
Please note that our cheese are not pasteurized, some kind of people shouldn't eat it, for example pregnant women.
Furthermore please let us know, before you come, if you have some kind of allergy.
If you can't find a day that fit for you among the scheduled ones; contact us to arrange a new day.

In my family we make sheep cheese since 1975, we (me and my sister) are the tird generation. I learned how to make cheese by my mother, who learned by her mother too. All our cheese are made by hand, our productiuon is small but made with care and love.

We will go around our farm: in the fields and in the stables. In theese placeses you will see all our animals. We will go in our small laboratory where you will see how we make the cheese.
Then for the tasting you will stay outside in our garden surraunded by fields and wood.

We have been staying in Badia Agnano and were looking for a place to do something unique. Podere Casa al Bosco was beautiful and the experience to watch how they made their cheese is very interesting and educational. The family is very welcoming and we felt very appreciated while we were there. The variety of aged cheese was delicious and our sampling was amazing! We would recommend this to anyone. It was an experience we won’t forget.

this was a unique experience and much more family friendly than wineries. My 3 year old loved seeing the animals and the hosts were very helpful and accommodative of him.

We had a lovely experience learning about this charming sheep farm! They also have goats and cats and dogs and a horse. The hosts were accommodating and kind. We loved learning about the cheese making and watching the process. Most of all, we loved tasting the cheeses, paired with jams and wine on a small plate of tapas. Highly recommend to all.

What a wonderful experience! This is a real working cheese farm run for three generations by a lovely family. Ada, her sister, and her son all participated in demonstrating the steps in making pecorino cheese, provided a yummy tasting with wine, and showed us the animals on the farm including the cutest baby sheep! A beautiful setting, happy, healthy animals, great cheese, and welcoming hosts. We couldn’t ask for anything more. Don’t miss this opportunity, book now!!

Wir hatten eine tolle Führung vom Sohn der Familie auf Englisch. Da andere Gäste abgesagt hatten, waren wir nur zun zweit. Man hat sich sehr viel Zeit für uns genommen und war sehr offen. Bei der Käse-Herrstellung hat man "nur" zugeguckt, aber auch das war sehr interessant!
