You will learn how to make many types of homemade pasta in a real laboratory of pasta, reviewed among the "best 10 pastificio in Rome" . In a maximum 8 people class, we will start with handmade pasta, made with different kind of flours: like ancient grain Triticum Monococcum, Grano Saraceno (buckwheat) and wholemeal flour. We will do thin sheets dough, explanation of safe food cutting procedures, realization of three types of ravioli, tortellini, fettuccine with two tipical italian sauces. The experience includes a delicious tasting of local cheese or homemade prosciutto hand cut.
We can also accomodate GLUTEN allergy guests for a very tasty fresh pasta and VEGAN guests for pasta without eggs.
We will cook all pasta and the sauces made during the class, eating our differents kind of pasta done, sipping good italian wine. An express tiramisu preparation will follow as a dessert. Moreover, to all the participants will be offered complimentary, the exclusive Professional Chef Hat with logo of "Pastificio Faini" and also the apron with logo. In additional to the regular program, everyday of the week a different version will be presented: Monday-Wednesday-Saturday Carbonara sauce; Tuesday-Friday Cacio e Pepe sauce; Thursday gnocchi!
A membership registration is requested to make the class. (no extra cost is due)

I'm chef and pasta maker. My parents worked in their "pasta shop" for 40 years making pasta with passion. Five years ago, I opened my own pasta shop and I was very surprised to have been named among "the best 10 Pastificio in Rome".
I have also been reviewed on the prestigious " Il Gambero Rosso" guide from 2017.
I've been inspired by the "magical" pasta made by my grandmother when I was a child and I'm so proud to teach how to make this special pasta to everyone. Transmit all the love and passion of my family, today, represents my dream.

Pastificio Faini is shop where we make and prepare pasta. Is located in the historic district of San Lorenzo in Rome, just 10 minutes walk from the metro station Vittorio Emanuele and liked by many bus like number 71 that run in the center. I will wait you in my laboratory.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our class with Emanuele. He and his assistant were superbly organized. Emanuele’s teaching style is charming and charismatic as well as practical. We left with recipes of everything we prepared and lots of insider tips on ingredients, materials, and techniques. We highly recommend this class!

This was hands down the best thing I did in Rome. You HAVE to do this if you get the chance. Emanuele is so personable and knowledgable, and you really get a full meal out of the class with cheese and wine and dessert. I would takethis class again in a heartbeat

We had the best time learning how to prepare handmade pastas. Emanuele showed us the best techniques how to prepare the dough and roll it out to make ravioli, fettuccine, tortellini, etc. He also showed us how to make the tasty filling and sauces. Overall, it was an awesome and fun experience and we highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in making delicious homemade pastas and have fun the same time.

Wow! Just wow! This was amazing! He is a wonderful teacher! There is no time for you not to be engaged! I was constantly wanting/waiting for more. Waiting for the next step! I took a pasta making class in Venice but this was twice as good! You get so much good helpful tips and important facts about pasta making in this class. He teaches you about sauce, how to stand, how to cut, different type of flower, different types of pasta. Just hands down an amazing experience worth the money for sure! BOOK THIS EVENT! Oh yeah, and you get wine !!!
