We offer a masterclass for people who want to have a completely new approach to photography: we teach how to turn digital images into a particular work of art using the technique called "Venetian monotype".
The process can be enjoyed by a group of people or on your own: the workshop has a fixed price, so up to 5 persons can participate.
Starting by showing the completed works, continuing with learning the technique step by step, the participants of our workshop will be guided throughout the whole procedure.
You will be more than satisfied with the results, having hand-printed photography of your own or from our suggested ones. By the end of practice, you will not just have your individual work of art but will reach a whole new level of artistic meditation, learning to transform your memories into personalized craft prints.

I am working as a professional art photographer for more than 20 years, and have spent the last 15 years exclusively to art photography.
I run "Oi Va Voi Studio" in Venice for more than a decade and the last 8 years of my life I have devoted to developing and teaching a new printing procedure, which allows printing digital photography by hand. The process is a mix of photography and graphics. This new simple and unique technique is nontoxic and is available for children from 5 years of age.

Staðsetning

The workshop will be held at my studio in Castello, Venice, right in the middle of the Biennale district. Completed works exposed at the studio will be shown to demonstrate the possibilities and versions of the technique which participants are going to explore.
