I want to offer a unique insight into Stockholm and take you to some of the best viewpoints that people normally miss as well as feeling good that you’ve got a workout in!
We will meet at City Hall (Stadshuset) and do a short warm up there while I talk through the history of it. From there we will run along the water by Norr Malarstränd, through Rålombovsparken and up to the Västerbrön bridge which has my favourite view of Stockholm. We will head over the bridge and onto the South Island where we will do the famous Montelius Vägen route on the cliffs with great views of the city, we’ll work our way to the old town (Gamla Stan) and traverse the cobbled streets. We will stop at a coffee shop in the old town to finish and a hot drink is included. Total 8km.
Throughout, I will talk you through the history of the city so you can go back with tired legs and a brain full of facts (and if you want, I can help with your running technique.)
This is a run not a race and the aim is to enjoy it and stop many times along the way to take pictures and take in the amazing views. We will run at a group pace, this is an experience open to all but please ensure you can run/jog 8km.
** Note that we will finish in a different location to where we start so you will run with everything you bring.
All the pictures are from running the route, as you can see, you can run all year round!
Other things to note
Regarding Covid, as we will be running, we can ensure to keep a safe distance from each other then we will have a coffee in a café that follows all government standards.

I have been running for 12 years and have completed 3 marathons (Stockholm, London and Valencia), 6 half marathons, 10 obstacle course races and countless 10/5km races.
There’s nothing I love more than exploring a city with my trainers on, you get to see a lot more, as well as feeling good about doing exercise at the same time.
I have spent 4 years exploring Stockholm’s streets, parks and forests, you name it, I’ve probably bounded through it. I’ve taken many friends on Stockholm runs, and attended a lot of Airbnb Run Experiences in different cities and have decided to offer this now in my city.

Staðsetning
We will meet at City Hall and then run across the West side of the city, finishing in Gamla Stan (old town). Go through the City Hall to the garden by the waterfront where I will be waiting for you.

Excellent sightseeing run. Pace was appropriate to be able to speak and same for distance. Stephanie is a very good host knowing a lot about Stockholm. We visited places with great views on Stockholm city center, that I definitelly wouldn't visit by myslelf. Stephanie is very friendly and I enjoyed the run a lot! I fully recommend this experience.
