Come out and try slackline! Get active outdoors with the whole family, meet new friends, and slackline like the locals. Challenge your balance in a new and fun way and build excellent technique with controlled exits. In just 2 hours, expect to find success in one or more of the Fundamental slackline skills including kneeling, sitting, standing, and perhaps even walking on the line. The combination of yoga and slackline creates another level of body awareness that teaches greater balance and connection. It adds diversity to your work out, while giving you more confidence - and it's really fun! A great family activity for all ages.


What is slackline yoga?

Slackline yoga (or slackasana) is balancing on a 1" piece of webbing lightly tensioned between two anchors. Think tight rope walking, with slack. If you’re looking for an incredible core workout, look no further. If you can find your breath in yoga class, can you find it in balancing above the ground? Despite the challenging nature of the act, it is achievable by almost anyone with a little bit of perseverance, patience, and guidance under experienced teachers.

Other things to note
This class is 2 hours in length and will take place outdoors rain or shine. Class cancellations will happen in the event of a Thunderstorm with lightning. Class cancellations will be refunded. There are bathrooms on site. We are able to practice social distancing outdoors, please let me know in adv.

Erin is a YogaSlackers Teacher who teaches slackline yoga at studios, festivals (including Wanderlust, Breathe, and Playthink), and retreats. Erin can confidently walk over 200 ft and balance a hands-free shoulder-stand on a slackline. The YogaSlackers are an eclectic group of 100 plus highly skilled individuals united by our love for Yoga, Slacklining, AcroYoga, Conditioning or Adventure. Staðsetning

Slackline with the locals at North Boulder Park, a grassy expanse with a playground, picnic areas, ball fields, and view of the foothills. Slackline is approved only on City designated trees. We will meet in the North Boulder Park Parking Lot (just past 8th and Dellwood Ave) and walk to the slacklines. There are seasonal public restrooms available at the park. North Boulder Park is a short drive to/from Mt Sanitas Trailhead.
