If you’ve always had an interest in Japanese cuisine, and wondered how you can reproduce some of the Japanese dishes you’ve had before, come join us at my cooking class, you’ll learn to cook Osaka stir-fried noodles in a normal fry pan. The menu is changed on Tuesday to teriyaki chicken, Soy egg, and ohitashi (soaked vegetables) .

PRICE for per person: 2,000 yen (About US$20)
Duration: 1.25 hours
NOTE:
Regular Osaka stir-fried noodle is cooked with slices pork belly, or squid, but you can choose favorite ingredients like fried tofu, mushroom, chicken, or prawn.

Hi I’m Terumi. I was born and grown up in Osaka, Japan. My love for food started from very young age. After living in US, and traveling around overseas, I got even more obsessed with international cuisines. So I launched my International Cooking Class in 2008.
And also I launched my tea ceremony and cooking experiences through some platforms since a few years ago. The more I exposed to workshop host, the stronger I designed to share enjoyments and diversities with my guests through local tours. Terumi-san was great! She was very kind and patient, willing to help me with each step and walk me through each one individually. She even showed me around her beautiful home - and even gave me a view of the skyline she could see from her balcony. I also got to learn a few words of Japanese while cooking along with her. She also had two separate cameras set up - so I could see her exact process through each step with the dish, allowing me to make a great meal.

Terumi’s Osaka Style Stir-fry Class was amazing! She is so kind and patient, re-explaining things as we needed and talking through dietary modifications. We did this as private group as a team event and it was perfect. She even gave us a tour of her apartment and let us ask her questions about her life and Japan. The noodles were delicious and definitely an easy recipe I’ll be making again and again!

Great, clear instructions, what I would call the Japanese thoroughness and attention to detail combined with a friendly and open interaction style during the session. This was a session where I found myself (with family) engaged along with a friend who logged in as well, and Terumi was wonderful in responding to our different conversations along the way.
