Do you feel like you waste your morning feeling slow, half awake, or unfocused? Like your day is lacking structure? Do you feel unmotivated when you wake up, and then hope to find inspiration later in the day, but don’t?

In this online experience, we’ll walk through my favourite morning routine that helped me get to, and keeps me competing at a world-class level. We’ll start by hydrating with a cold glass of lime-salt water and I’ll tell you the incredible story of how I made my first Olympic team, and consequently how I developed the habit of my morning routine after getting hit by a track and field hammer (preview: it’s the biggest bruise you’ll ever see). I’ll teach you how to activate a positive and motivated mentality through specific types of journaling. After that, we’ll move into some gentle but energising movements to activate your body. With blood flowing and a primed mindset, I’ll guide you through a short but highly effective meditation. As the finale, I’ll show you the trick of how to enjoy a cold shower while teaching you about some of the physiological benefits. After, you’ll be sent a “cheat sheet” of the routine, along with links to more information.

This experience is great for large groups and work-related events. It can also be modified to a 45-minute presentation with Q&A.

I have the most incredible (and strange) job: I throw the javelin for a living. I’ve represented Canada at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics and competed as a professional athlete for nine years. My favorite part of this journey has been the opportunity to continuously learn and apply new information, habits, and activities that unlock our incredible human potential.

I want to share my most curated and effective habit: a morning routine that sets you up to win the day. I’ve hosted a variety of athletes, go-getters, and company groups online through my routine; I look forward to taking you through it as well!

My wife and I had an absolutely incredible experience attending the "Win the morning" presentation with Liz. It was our anniversary and we decided to gift ourselves this experience as an investment towards self-care and personality development. And boy, was that the best decision! The best part about the presentation is that each routine is only 2-5 mins max, very practical to do and Liz backs all her steps with hard scientific facts. It is a great way to kick-start your day and you feel really pumped at the end. I was in awe of actually chatting with an Olympic champion and it was wonderful to hear her narrate her amazing journey and stories. We were lucky that there was only one other person with us and we got to interact with her a lot. I would highly recommed this to anyone who wants to inculcate a healthy morning routine to jumpstart your day.

This experience was so insightful, we learned great tips and most importantly, we got to understand what each step brings to the whole routine. I loved this experience with Liz! I was lucky enough to be the only person on the call, and she thoughtfully personalized the experience to me. I liked the Liz had scientific reasoning for the various things in her morning routine, and she was able to answer many of my questions. I've been doing the routine every day for the last week, and have been finding myself needing caffeine less, and able to be in a better mood as I get my kids ready for school and start the work from home day.
