We will bake fruit, lavender and berry scones, and spelt or brown bread.
I will bake on my side of the video, while the guest will bake at the same time at their place. Im going to do all the baking step by step with them.
I believe in the hands on experience for my guests - from handling ingredients to kneading dough.
It isn't all about the cooking, I share lots of tips from my experience over the years.
I love to see the faces full of excitement and joy at the sight of the end product - freshly baked scones and bread.
And best of all we have lots of fun.

Had such a great time baking with Kate! The scones and bread turned out lovely- and learned some great techniques along the way. Reminded me of baking with my Grandma who was from Ireland! Hugs from Texas!!

Kate’s class was wonderful. She skillfully guided me and I ended up with the most wonderful brown bread and scones in my own kitchen. Even though I was miles away I felt like I was with her in her kitchen in Ireland. Thank you for a wonderful time Kate!

I bought this experience as a birthday gift for my rwo sisters. Because it was remote, we were able to do this activity from three different parts of the world. We had a nice time and learned two simple yet delicious recipes

Kate was a very warm and welcoming host, showing us how to make our preferred flavor of scones and a loaf of brown bread in a short amount of time. I spent a few years in Ireland before taking this class, and I’m happy to be able to replicate some of the flavors I remember from my time there at home! Kate checked in on us regularly and after the class to make sure everything was on track and we didn’t have any questions, and the cooking process was clear enough that I feel confident making them again. If you live in the US, while the names of some of the ingredients don’t sound like items you’ve seen at the grocers here, you can find them easily under different names. I messaged Kate in advance and she was quick to reply and helpful with identifying flour types etc. so if you have any questions just reach out.

It was was nice to make scones and brown bread with Kate this morning. Brought me back to my visit to Ireland a few years ago. The recipe was great, I made some for my neighbors after the class.
