Það sem verður gert

Guests will arrive at our place, where they will be welcomed by myself or by one of our family member. The experience will start with the cellars tour, during which we will explain our company history and what we produce today and we will explain the wine-making processes and production while showing our machineries and barrels. After that the wine-tasting is starting: we have a large wine-tasting room dedicated, where the guests can sit at tables. They will taste 4 wines (IGT Toscana Rosato, IGT Toscana Rosso, Chianti Classico and Chianti Classico Riserva): for each wine we are explaining how it is composed and its flavours and so on ... The wine tastings are accompanied by a selection of typical Tuscan baked products. It is possible eventually to make a short walk in our vineyards. Extra food/wines/liquors/spirits may be added paying an extra fee.

The estate covers a total area of about 47 hectares of which 25 are dedicated to vineyards, 3 hec. are planted with olive groves and 11 covered in woods. The estate was founded by Metello Sabatini, and today is run by his nephews Niccolò (myself) and Daniel who continue the family tradition with passion and dedication. Since three generations we produce with great determination and pride wines & olive-oils made exclusively from our vineyards and our lands. The grapes we grow are: Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Canaiolo, Syrah, Montepulciano and Trebbiano

It was a lovely tour with great information on the production of wine. The location was absolutely beautiful and the wines we were able to taste we’re exceptional.

We had a really great time. Taste of their wines is really good with explanations of how it is produced. They also have a lovely dog that followed us on the tour and made it special :) We recommend it! We bought 8 bottles of wine which says a lot :)
