Do you obsess about your weight, have overwhelming cravings for certain foods that you know keep you stuck, or convince yourself day after day that THIS TIME you'll just take one bite of that certain something and then find you absolutely can't stop?

In this two hour experience we're going to:

- Educate you on the foods keeping you sick and why.
-Cover the science and psychology of food addiction, including recent research on the
interplay between genes, neurotransmitters, and specific types of foods
-Look at habits and how they determine long-term success.
-Examine the timing of eating and how it effects fat storage, hunger and metabolism.
-Explore the role of genetics and the interplay between our behavior and weight.
And finally, to top it off-
-Enjoy a full sit-down dinner with multiple courses incorporating all that we've learned.
Other things to note
Anyone and everyone is welcome. Those who suffer with sugar addiction, binge eating, food cravings, impaired metabolism including the midlife "tire", or inflammation and fatigue will benefit most from this course.
Weight loss is an inevitable and welcome side effect.

I'm the executive chef and founder of Robin's Nest Retreats.

Having lost over 100 lbs myself twelve years ago through radically changing my diet and the way I think about nutrition, I'm now grateful to be helping others stuck in their goals and frustrated that no matter how hard they try they just can't achieve lasting weight loss or optimal health.

I have a bachelor's in Psychology and a Masters in Aging, but candidly, my best expertise by far is my own lifelong struggle with binge eating disorder and compulsive eating. Driven by my own struggles, I spent over 20 years researching every diet and nutrition book I could get my hands on. I now recognize eating disorders as a true addictive process and help others see why they can't get better until they understand which foods are keeping them stuck and why.
