ZOOM CLASS:

Guests will participate in a 90 minute guided Tai Chi and Meditation session. This class is good for beginners and intermediate levels.

The guided session will include the following:
1. Qi gong --pronounced chee gong--
A practice that involves a series of postures and exercises, including slow circular movements, regulated breathing, focused meditation, and self-massage.

Benefits of Qi gong: Greater Stamina and vitality, Reduced Stress, Enhanced Immune System, Improved Cardiovascular, Respiratory, Circulatory, Lymphatic, and Digestive Function, Lower Blood Pressure, and Less Risk of Falling.

2. Tai Chi and Meditation
Tai Chi is a type of low-impact, weight-bearing, and aerobic exercise. It began as a martial art. The exercise involves slow gentle movements, deep breathing, and meditation.

Benefits of Tai Chi: Improves flow of positive energy through the body, leading to better wellness and a wide range of potential benefits. Benefits Includes but not limited to: Strength, Coordination, Reduced pain, and Stiffness.

Itinerary:
First 30 min. warm-up, stretching, balance, and equipment for Tai Chi training. Next 30 min. for group Qigong. Final 30 min. for Tai Chi Forms and Tai Chi Push Hands.

Is a qualified and certified Tai Chi & Meditation Instructor of Northbay Hospital, Happy Ocean Tai Chi Academy, and the greater SF Bay Area. He also teaches at Community Centers and offers weekly classes regularly at his art studio.
