Það sem verður gert

We will meet in Piazza Esquilino, near one of the oldest areas in Rome called Monti and we will have a 2 hour walk. While you will admire the Eternal City's beauty we will talk in an informal way about Italian culture, for example: how to greet people in Italy, the difference between North and South, the communication pattern, how to empathize with Italians, how do they perceive space and time, the local dating scene, how to survive bureaucracy, the regular day of an Italian and how do they stay fit with all this pasta and pizza! I will answer your questions and we will compare your home culture(s) with the Italian one and experience the city like a local would do. We might have a coffee in a bar and learn why is this place so important and different from other countries. Soccer, dining habits, swear words, cultural archetypes, you name it. Whatever you always wanted to know about Italy will be thoroughly discussed during this stroll. Prepare your questions! By the end of the walk you will decide where do you belong more and will surely understand Italy and your home culture(s) much better!

Fleiri ábendingar

As this is not a regular Roman tour but a cultural immersion, it is about Italian culture, not Roman monuments. I can help you with some travel tips but this is a culture and people oriented experience.
