First stop is Vinicola Retorno, a boutique winery located at the entrance of Valle de Guadalupe. Here you’ll enjoy minimum intervention wines such as the top selling Teo and Palabra. We’ll then head to San Antonio de las Minas to Vinicola Kruger and restaurant La Doble T, where you will be entertained by the charming winemaker and chef. We will pick you up at the listed pickup spot or possibly from your Airbnb or Hotel in the Ensenada-VDG area of close to center or on planned route at 10:30am. From there we will head straight to the first winery with a planned arrival of 11am. During my tour you will visit 3 Boutique Wineries. I prefer the smaller mom and pop places which provide higher quality wine and experience. Also we will eat lunch at a great restaurant. The tour usually ends around 4:30 depending on how many are in the group and how many photos are taken to update their instagram. I try not to rush the tour and I don't get annoyed when asked to take a thousand pictures for you. I really enjoy spending time getting to know the people on the tour. Consumption at the wineries and restaurants is not included in this price. The price simply includes my expertise as a guide, transportation, and arrangements at all venues. But don't worry the prices of tastings at the wineries are not expensive and I prefer to do it this way as each person can pick and choose how much and what they would prefer to consume. Ready to eat, drink, and get cultured TJ style?! In general the itinerary is going to look like this. Meet outside Nelson Hotel near the iconic Tijuana Arch. From there we'll be walking a loop. We will visit my favorite brewery, get the best most unexpected view in TJ, participants younger than 18 yrs old are welcome to have a non-alcoholic drink, then we'll go have the best tacos downtown Tj, some of the best in the whole city, walk around, maybe visit a hip new restaurant for apps (and possibly a craft cocktail), stop in at an artist collective, pop into Caesars for the 'original' salad, swing into a local market with different chiles and Mexican goodies, grab a mezcal or tequila at a historic bar and maybe a Mexican candy for desert : ) I will likely end the tour at the Tijuana History Museum at which point you can decide if you want to explore it on your own. All food, drink, and activity decisions/expenses are up to you so please remember to bring pesos or American dollars. P.S. Las islas están situadas entre 25,6 y 32 kilómetros al sur de la entrada de la bahía de San Diego, a solo 13,6 kilómetros de la península mexicana. Por su gran importancia natural y nivel de endemismos, a partir de 2016, por decreto presidencial, las cuatro islas de este grupo así como su mar circundante, forman parte de la Reserva de la Biosfera "Islas del Pacífico de la Península de Baja California", que a su vez protege otras islas vecinas.
